A Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) has been prepared by the Center for Telecommunication Technology (C-DOT). In this, the model number, SIM number and IMEI number of every user’s mobile is recorded. To find a stolen mobile, government agencies match the mobile model and IMEI number.

What details need to be filled to block the phone ?
As soon as you visit CEIR, you will see the option of Block/Stolen/Lost Mobile. After clicking on this, some details of your phone will be asked. In this, details like mobile number, IMEI 1, device brand, device model, receipt of mobile, where lost, date of loss of phone, city Najdiri police station, police complaint number, name of phone owner, home address, email IG have to be entered.
